From Jacksonville:
Take US 17 South through Orange Park and Green Cove Springs. Sungarden Rd. is 11 miles south of Green Cove Springs on the right, Sungarden is a dirt road also known as Clay County Rd. 214 West. Look for the large white nursery buildings on right. This is the county line of Putnam and Clay. Turn right on Sungarden Rd, go approximately 2.5 miles to the track entrance on right, look for the sign at entrance.
Alternate route from Jacksonville:
I-95 South to 210 West. Follow 210 West until it dead ends into 13. South on 13 for approximately 1 mile to 16 West going over the Shands bridge. 16 West will dead end into 17. Turn left and go 11 miles south to Sungarden Rd. (see above)
From Daytona:
Go US1 North to 100 West to 17. Head north on 17 for approximately 20 miles to Sungarden Rd which is a dirt road on the left hand side. Look for the large white nursery buildings on left. This is the county line of Putnam and Clay. Turn left on Sungarden Rd, go approximately 2.5 miles to the entrance on right, look for the sign at entrance.
From St. Augustine:
Head South on 207 to Palatka. Head north on 17 for approximately 18 miles to Sungarden Rd which is a dirt road on the left hand side. Look for the large white nursery buildings on left. This is the county line of Putnam and Clay. Turn left on Sungarden Rd, go approximately 2.5 miles to the entrance on right, look for the sign at entrance.
From Gainesville:
Head East on 20 to Palatka. North on 17 for approximately 17 miles to Sungarden Rd which is a dirt road on the left hand side. Look for the large white nursery buildings on left. This is the county line of Putnam and Clay. Turn left on Sungarden Rd, go approximately 2.5 miles to the entrance on right, look for the sign at entrance.
From Orlando:
Head North on I-4 and Merge onto I-95 north. Continue until Flagler Beach. Take exit 284, turn West toward Palatka on State Road 100 and follow this to US-17. Head north on US-17 for approximately 20 miles to Sungarden Rd which is a dirt road on the left hand side. Look for the large white nursery buildings on left. This is the county line of Putnam and Clay. Turn left on Sungarden Rd, go approximately 2.5 miles to the entrance on right, look for the sign at entrance.
From I-4 you can also pick up 17 near DeBary and follow it all the way to Sungarden Road. Its more direct, but through more small towns.
